What should I wear for Rock Climbing?

We recommend wearing comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for easy movement. Closed-toe shoes with good grip are essential. Climbing shoes are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

Can we still gor Rock Climbing if the weather is bad?

Our rock climbing activity takes place at our premier indoor climbing facility, so it’s weather-proof! Rain or shine, you can enjoy climbing in a controlled, safe environment.

How fit do I need to be to participate in Rock Climbing?

Rock climbing is a versatile activity that can be enjoyed by people of varying fitness levels. Our instructors will tailor the experience to suit your abilities and ensure you have a great time.

I'm not on the Squad team, can I still attend?

No, this event is for our Squad students only. Make sure to check out our other Rock Climbing events however, as we run open sessions throughout the year.

Indoor To Outdoor Climbing Skills Session

Develop your indoor climbing skills in an outdoor setting, taking part in a range of climbing activities on real rock faces.

Open to our Squad Team at the Live For Today Climbing Centre, our outdoor climbing days are the perfect way to test and develop your climbing abilities.

Perfect for ages 7-18 and above, these 5 hour sessions will see you take on Weasling, Bouldering, Abseiling & Top Rope climbing amongst the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

Our qualified instructors will see you adapt your indoor climbing skills to the outdoors, teaching you the fundamentals of rock climbing.
