Ripon To Boroughbridge Paddleboarding Trip

Our SUP adventure covers a beautiful 7-mile stretch of the River Ure, taking approximately 5-6 hours to complete.

The day begins in Boroughbridge, where you leave your vehicle and are transported to the historic city of Ripon, the starting point of our canoe trip.

Here, we’ll set up our paddleboards and our expert instructor will guide you through a comprehensive safety briefing.

As we paddle downstream, the journey unfolds through a tapestry of diverse landscapes, showcasing everything from the grandeur of Newby Hall to the quiet beauty of the river’s natural surroundings.

Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to spot local wildlife, such as the vibrant kingfishers and playful otters.

Halfway through, we take a break to enjoy a leisurely lunch on the riverbank, allowing you to relax and soak in the natural beauty around you.

The post-lunch journey is equally enchanting as the river widens and meanders, gently guiding us back to Boroughbridge and the end of our memorable excursion.
