We had a brilliant time paddle boarding, the lake at Ripley is very scenic and we were lucky with the weather. Our younger daughter struggled to start with but the instructor was encouraging and she eventually got the hang of it. Highly recommend!

A brilliant archery session, led by Rich, for our family group ranging in age from eleven to seventy eight. We all really enjoyed the challenge of learning new skills, and Rich was an excellent teacher. Can wholeheartedly recommend this and will definitely be returning to sample some other activities on offer.

Had a lovely time paddling on the lake. Everything needed was provided, as well as a place to change. Ben, the instructor, was fabulous, very knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour that put everyone at ease. Would recommend this experience to anyone.

At Ripley Castle, you'll find more than just stone walls and turrets. Here, the past comes alive with stories spanning over 700 years, making it a delightful start to your day. Once you've explored the castle's interiors, take a leisurely walk in the Deer Park. It’s a peaceful spot, and if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of some deer roaming the grounds.
Then, it’s time to stretch your legs a bit more in the castle’s Gardens. It's an inviting place with a little bit of everything, from walled sections to ornamental lakes. And after all that walking, the castle's Tearoom offers the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of traditional English tea and perhaps a light meal or dessert.
