Will I get wet doing watersports & do I need spare clothes?

Not 100% but very likely. Make sure to bring a full change of clothes and spare shoes to change into. We will take our time to get you to stand up. Once up we’ll go on a journey down towards Ripley Castle. When we get back we will start playing a variety of games and developing your skills, it’s this point when you are likely to get wet. Very good fun though!

Do you provide wetsuits for watersports?

We do have some cags and wetsuits you can borrow if you need, but numbers are limited. Everyone will be provided with a buoyancy aid. You’re also welcome to bring your own wetsuits.

Do you have changing rooms for watersports?

Yes we have basic changing rooms onsite, but not for our offsite adventures.

Do you provide safety equipment for watersports?

Yes, we provide buoyancy aids and helmets for people taking part in our watersports activities.

Can we do watersports if the weather is bad?

Paddleboarding is a weather-dependent activity. In case of bad weather, we will reschedule your session for a safer and more enjoyable experience.

This beautiful venue makes a great day out even without the fun on offer from Live for Today. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and chose adventure over pampering. Our day started with Quad Biking, followed by Cryptic Chase, lunch in the tea rooms, then Raft Building. Our guide, Geoff, surely thought that he had drawn the short straw when he was allocated to us. He was, however, totally unflappable, knowledgeable and kind.
