Indoor To Outdoor Climbing

Develop your indoor climbing skills in an outdoor setting, taking part in a range of climbing activities on real rock faces.

Open to our NICAS students at the Live For Today Climbing Centre, our outdoor climbing days are the perfect way to test and develop your climbing abilities.

Perfect for ages 7 and above, these 5 hour sessions will see you take on Weasling, Bouldering, Abseiling & Top Rope climbing amongst the beautiful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.

Our qualified instructors will see you adapt your indoor climbing skills to the outdoors, teaching you the fundamentals of rock climbing.

Went to the Brimham Rocks rock climbing session with my 9 year old on Saturday. Absolutely brilliant. The leaders were fantastic too. We had a great time and thought it was brilliant value. We’ll be back again and recommend. Thanks!

Ilkley Cow & Calf

High on Ilkley Moor the Cow and Calf Rocks are a large rock formation consisting of an outcrop and boulder, also known as Hangingstone Rocks. The rocks are made of millstone grit, a variety of sandstone, and are so named because one is large, with the smaller one sitting close to it, like a cow and calf.
